The weather is heating up, but we are keeping very cool at the Center for Puppetry Arts. If you’re looking for some indoor fun during your summer vacations (or staycations), or looking for unique Atlanta attractions to entertain your out-of-town guests, we’ve got a whole month-full of suggestions. We’ve got shows, tours, educational programming and—perhaps most important—air-conditioning!

On stage through July 23: Cinderella Della Circus. With high-flying thrills, Cinderella Della Circus brings puppetry and the circus together with fairytale magic. The Create-A-Puppet Workshop for this show is the Stretcho Rod Puppet. See more information below about our special events for this show on July 8, 15 and 22!

July 9: A sensory-friendly production of Cinderella Della Circus, 1 pm: During this performance, the following alterations will be employed: theater lights dimmed down but not out, consistent sound levels and lower volume of show soundtrack, freedom for children to talk and to leave their seat if necessary, a quiet zone in the lobby, and permission to bring quiet, contained snacks and beverages. These adjustments continue into the museum and Create-A-Puppet Workshop.
