This documentary is about Kathputli, India’s colony of artists, magicians, acrobats, and puppeteers, as they wrangle with the reality of their approaching eviction. After the screening, enjoy a talkback with Kelsey Fritz, one of the Co-Curators of the Center’s special exhibit Indian Puppets: The Great Stories and Dancing Dolls. The talkback will feature an interactive with Kathputli marionettes from India.
