PROGRAM LENGTH: 60 minutes

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: A Center staff member takes students on a behind-the-scenes look at classic literature brought to life on the puppet stage. Students engage in a dialogue with the presenter about Poe’s work and discuss design concepts of the performance to reveal how they were brought to life on the puppet stage. DVD clips of show excerpts, models of the stage design, and puppets from the performance enhance this program. Theme, point-of-view, and other concepts are discussed. Students will view excerpts from one or more of the following scenes: The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, The Black Cat, M.S. Found in a Bottle. This is a great arts and literature lesson all in one!

Cancellation Policy:
• We will not charge for webinars cancelled due to nature i.e. snow days. We do require a reschedule, however.
• The full fee will be charged to sites which cancel with less than 72 hours notice. That includes NO SHOWS.
• Foreign language programs require a 2 week cancellation notice. Call with questions.
