Sponsored by:

This project has been partially sponsored by a grant from The Puppeteers
of America Endowment Fund.
Written and directed by Jon Ludwig, Artistic Director
2009-10 Family Series
Little Noodle and her parents live in a pasta box on the top shelf of the
grocery store. Suddenly, their home is knocked over and Little Noodle is
swept far away! Lost and hungry, she sets off to find her way home. Along
the way, she meets many strange, wonderful and sometimes scary characters,
but everyone has opinions on what to eat and how to live. Can you help Little
Noodle make healthy choices and find her way home?

The Center for Puppetry Arts is
committed to bringing attention to issues affecting the world's children.
Combining the art of puppetry with serious issues, the Center uses performances,
workshops, and exhibits to help focus upon the issue in a manner that
children find both fun and understandable.
This year, the Center is proud to be working with the Aetna Foundation
to produces Adventures of Little Noodle, a new show focused on
the issues surrounding childhood obesity by our Artistic Director, Jon
Ludwig. This show is being presented as part of our Healthy Children/Prevent
Childhood Obesity Initiative.
The Center does not believe in a set methodology, diet regime, or exercise
plan; instead, as leading research indicates, the Center endorses having
an active lifestyle, making wise food choices, and having a positive self-image
regardless of body shape.
While you are at the Center, please visit our information table, where
you can pick up additional materials and health resources provided by
our community partners. Check this webpage often for added special events
and upcoming activities through the fall.
