Stellaluna ![]() by Tears of Joy Theatre, Portland, OR 2008-09 Family Series When Stellaluna, a baby fruit bat, wanders away from her home, she suddenly finds herself in a nest full of baby birds. She tries to adapt to her new environment, but everything is very different. She tries to cuddle in the nest but she'd rather hang upside down. She tried to eat worms but she'd rather play with them. Imagine her relief when she finally learns she is not a bird at all! Based on the book by Janell Cannon, this production tells a timeless story about trying to fit in and eventually finding your true self.
