Activities for your special event The Center offers a number of puppetry-related activities to make your event memorable! A refundable deposit of $250 is required with any rental. Museum | Performances | Buy a Show! | Education | Museum Demonstrations | Behind-The-Scenes Tour Museum Guests will enjoy the interactive PUPPETS: THE POWER OF WONDER, which displays over 350 puppets from around the world representing various time periods, artists, puppetry styles and cultures. Puppets featured include Jim Henson's "Pigs in Space", Wayland Flower's "Madame", Indonesian shadow puppets and many others. Also includes Special Exhibits. Fee: $250 (Docents available upon request) Performances Entertain your guests with tickets to a fun-filled performance. The Center's resident company offers full-scale family productions enjoyable for all ages in the Mainstage and Downstairs Theaters. In addition, entertaining performances geared for teens and adults are presented in the Downstairs Theater. Subject to availability. Fee: Group rates available upon request Buy a Show! Book a private viewing of one of the Center's regularly scheduled performances. Groups of up to 350 can be accommodated in the Mainstage Theater and up to 174 in the Downstairs Theater. Subject to availability. Fee: Group rates available upon request Education Guests can enjoy a creative and educational experience while at the Center. Special puppet-making activities for all ages allow your guests to design, create and learn the manipulation techniques of their very own puppet. Subject to availability. Fee: Group rates available upon request Museum Demonstrations Visitors of all ages can have the opportunity to discover more about the history of puppetry while examining puppets from other cultures. Subject to availability. Fee: Group rates available upon request Behind-The-Scenes Tour Go behind the scenes and see where the magic begins!
