Join Captain Healthy & Saftey Dog on an intergalactic voyage to the plant, Relatively Fit. This unlikely space-traveling duo is on a mission to take audiences to a planet where they can learn how to be healthy and stay safe. Along the way, we meet a cast of whacky characters who teach us to hone our hygiene skills, protect ourselves from too much sun, stay safe around the house, and understand how to make good, healthy food choices. It’s a fantastic expedition filled with fun and facts!

Meet the Cast!
Luis Hernandez
Performer
Luis R. Hernandez has previously appeared at the Center in Mother Goose (2018 Suzi Bass Award Nominee), Cinderella Della Circus, Pete the Cat, SPACE!, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Beauty & the Beast, Charlotte’s Web, Winnie the Pooh, The Adventures of Mighty Bug, Tales of Edgar Allan Poe, and in the title role of Don Quixote. Some of his favorite past shows in Atlanta theatre include Spamalot(Atlanta Lyric Theatre), Inside I and The Navigator (7 Stages), The Boys Next Door (Georgia Ensemble Theatre), Kiss Me Kate (Stage Door) Guys and Dolls (Aurora Theatre), and The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs (Theatre in the Square). He has also performed several times and directed a show for Teatro del Sol, Atlanta’s only professional Spanish language theatre, since its inception. You may have also seen him on the stages of Actor’s Express, Horizon Theatre, Synchronicity, Dad’s Garage, and The Shakespeare Tavern. His TV credits include Devious Maids (Lifetime), Dynasty (CW), and NCIS: New Orleans (CBS).

Amy Sweeney is a Suzi Bass Award winning performer and director at CPA. You may have seen her in past productions such as The Little Pirate Mermaid, Stan the Lovesick Snowman, Ugly Duckling, Mother Goose, Stellaluna, Click Clack Moo, Old MacDonald’s Farm, Space! and many more. She’s truly tickled to be performing in the little big top again. Thank you to Matt Baum for being the best clown partner ever, to Michael Haverty for the ongoing guidance and support, and of course to Tim for all the love and patience. She sends snuggles to her girls Elora and Stella and gratitude to her Mom and Dad for all of their support!
