A Puppeteer Primer
Puppetry is a physically dynamic artform that often also requires a robust and flexible voice to pair with a cornucopia of fanciful characters and stories. Care of the professional voice is an essential component for the wellness of the actor so that we can make magic happen every show, every time. Nathaniel Sundholm, CCC-SLP of the Emory Voice Center in Atlanta Georgia is a Voice Therapist that specializes in care of the professional voice. This engaging workshop will demonstrate how the voice works, how to care for the voice, and industry secrets for keeping the voice healthy, flexible, and durable.
Presented by Nathaniel Sundholm, Emory Voice Center
