Help Us Celebrate Sid!

The Center for Puppetry Arts is honored to celebrate the life of legendary puppeteer and television creator Sid Krofft. Please join us in the Mainstage Theatre on Wednesday, September 2nd to share memories of Sid’s life and artistry. At 2pm, there will be remarks and a video presentation, showcasing Sid and his work.  

As a co-founder of Sid and Marty Krofft Pictures, Sid created and produced iconic television series including H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, and Lidsville. Sid Krofft began his puppetry career in vaudeville and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. As a touring puppeteer, Sid and his marionettes opened for Judy Garland.  

Guests are encouraged to dress in bright, colorful, and creative attire to reflect Sid’s bright, colorful, and creative life.
