"To Do" Becomes "Ta-Da"
Join Mr. Kolache (hand puppet), a Czech pastry, and his dog Baklava (hand puppet) on a “movin and groovin’” adventure both inside and outside the grocery store in which they live. When Mr. Kolache is faced with an overwhelming list of tasks and lack of energy, students (K-2) come to his assistance by helping him make choices about eating healthy snacks and staying active. Students leave the program understanding that making healthy choices gives us the energy and motivation to accomplish anything! Audiences will interact with a live puppeteer as well as with colorful animated segments and videos, and help Mr. Kolache turn a “To-Do” List into a “Ta-Da” List! Health and nutrition, organization, My Food Plate, portion control, and staying active.
