Become a Docent

Inspire & Educate the Next Generation of Puppet Lovers

The Center for Puppetry Arts Museum Docents are trained volunteers who help inspire our patrons to explore and discover the history and magic of puppetry through the puppets on display at the Center.

The Center’s Docents are adults of all ages, walks of life, and educational backgrounds who enjoy puppetry, learning new things, and sharing that knowledge with others. Docents greet museum guests, lead tours, assist with special events, and act as ambassadors of the Center.

Once we receive your application, we will contact you to set up an orientation and background check. Get started today!
