Upcycled thrift store finds get new life in this unique retelling of the most classic puppet tale. You’ll see baskets become crickets, cooking pots become foxes, and a puppet just might turn into real “live” boy.  This solo “tour de farce” combines prop comedy, found object puppetry and original sound compositions for a laugh-out loud experience perfect for the whole family. Your ticket includes the performance, entry to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum, and the Create-A-Puppet Workshop™.

“That Puppet Guy” entertains the imaginations of the young and young-at-heart by combining live vocal characterizations and music with innovative puppet designs for wholesome family entertainment. Lee’s professional film credits include work with the Muppets® on the feature film, THE ADVENTURES OF ELMO IN GROUCHLAND and a SE Regional Daytime Emmy® nomination for his performances on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s critically acclaimed Spanish language series, ¡SALSA! Professional puppetry affiliations include memberships with Puppeteers of America, UNIMA-USA and the Atlanta Puppetry Guild. Lee began his puppetry career in 1994 as an intern here at the Center for Puppetry Arts and is celebrating over 20 years performing for Atlanta audiences.
