Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Center for Puppetry Arts! We currently offer three volunteer positions for interested individuals, which are listed below.
If you are looking to volunteer as part of a group (corporate, school, etc.), please email Dani Herd to get started. The Center does occasionally need help with larger one-day projects such as decorating for the holidays, sprucing up paint, and cleaning our parking lot. We’d love to have you!

Qualifications for Volunteers
To ensure that everyone who visits the Center of Puppetry Arts has an excellent experience, all prospective volunteers must:
Age Requirements
You must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer without supervision. This ensures greater volunteer and visitor safety.
Fill Out an Application
To be considered for any of our open volunteer positions, all applicants must complete an application.
*Background Check
To ensure safety, volunteers must pass a background check. There is a $20.00 non-refundable fee for this process.
Attend Orientation
Volunteers are required to attend an orientation. These sessions are scheduled regularly to introduce you to the Center and your roles with us.
*Background Check Process
Once a volunteer’s application has been reviewed, a PayPal link will be sent via email for the volunteer to pay for their background check. Upon the successful completion of a background check, volunteers are eligible to attend orientation. *Please note, that the background check is nonrefundable.
