Blue Star Museums

What It Is

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserve, and their families each summer.

The program begins on Armed Forces Day in mid-May and ends on Labor Day at the beginning of September.

The Center for Puppetry Arts is proud to be one of 2,000+ destinations nationwide.

Rules for Use

A military ID holder and up to 5 family members can visit the Center for Puppetry Arts Museum free of charge from May to Labor Day Weekend. Just show your qualifying ID at the Ticket Office. Free admission is only granted for Museum access and excludes performances or special programming.
