Puppetry NOW: Raymond Carr’s Innovative Storytelling Shines at The Center for Puppetry Arts
Special Exhibition Opens January 17
ATLANTA, Ga. (January 2025) — Atlanta’s own Raymond Carr, a celebrated filmmaker, puppeteer, and creator of some of today’s most imaginative characters, will enter the spotlight as the featured artist in the next Puppetry NOW showcase at the Center for Puppetry Arts.
Puppetry NOW is dedicated to highlighting artists whose voices and works have been historically underrepresented. Through this annual program, the Center provides a platform for puppeteers and artists of color to shine with solo exhibitions, live performances, and a commitment to preserving their contributions in its collections.
