Learn the Art of the Lion Dance
Discover the art and energy of the Lion Dance, one of the most iconic traditions of the Lunar New Year.
In this onsite workshop, participants will explore the cultural significance of the Lion Dance during festivals and celebrations while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the anatomy of the lion puppet. Learn how each component is crafted, what it symbolizes, and how skilled manipulation brings the lion’s expressive movements to life.
After learning the essentials, participants will put their new skills into action through hands-on practice and conclude the workshop by presenting their own mini Lion Dance performance.

- 3:00-3:30 PM – Lion Dance Presentation in Love Family Atrium
- 3:45 PM – Workshop Demonstration

With years of teaching experience across the metro Atlanta community, our instructors offer engaging training for students of all ages and skill levels. We have been committed to performing during traditional celebrations at municipalities, universities, and community centers and sharing our passion with the community.
