Penguin in my Pocket

Join us for this fun-filled and quirky marionette puppetry-style tale of a penguin scientist who crashes in the jungle when her jetpack fails and how she works with an artistic monkey to find her way home. Purchase of an All-Inclusive Ticket includes entrance into the Worlds of Puppetry Museum, Create-A-Puppet™ Workshop Playful Penguin String Puppet inspired by the character from Penguin in My Pocket, and free onsite parking.

Puppet Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

Get ready for summer and register for our Puppet Summer Camp for select weeks between June 5th – July 28th! Children ages 5-12 will learn about the creative and collaborative world of puppetry by participating in one of our three camps. Each camp is designed for a specific age group to inspire and engage in just the right way.

Worlds of Puppetry Museum

The galleries of the Worlds of Puppetry Museum include the Jim Henson Gallery, the Global Gallery, and the Dean Dubose Smith Special Exhibits Gallery.
Found It! Pop-Up Exhibition is open from now until April 23rd in the Love Family Atrium and features famous puppets made from everyday objects.

All galleries are included with admission.

Penguin in My Pocket

Join us for a fun-filled and quirky tale of a penguin scientist who crashes lands in the jungle when her experimental jetpack fails and how she works with an artistic monkey to find her way home all the while encountering a sea monster along the way. Features marionettes, rod puppets, audience member puppeteers, and a concertina. All-Inclusive Performance tickets include a performance, entry into the Worlds of Puppetry Museum (featuring the Jim Henson Collection and the Global Gallery), and the Create-A-Puppet Workshop™.

Things to Know Before You Visit

  • While masks are no longer mandatory, we recommend wearing a mask to protect those who are too young or are not eligible to be vaccinated.
