Anarchy - The Henson Way

Founded in 1958 by Jim and Jane Henson, The Jim Henson Company produced some of the most iconic shows of the twentieth century including The Muppet Show and Sesame Street, and continues to create content that inspires children and adults alike today. Amidst the hard work, Jim Henson fostered a community of artists and encouraged a culture of creativity, imagination, and play, including several pranks! Come meet some of the earliest artists behind The Jim Henson Company and learn about how this unique workplace cultivated their talents and led to the creation of iconic characters such as Cookie Monster, Miss Piggy, and more.

 

Entrance to this Special Exhibition is included with Admission to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum April 2 – October 26, 2025
