Explore Jim Henson's Creative Legacy

Affectionate Anarchy: Creating with Jim Henson highlights the artists, innovators, and creators who worked alongside Jim Henson during the first 25 years of The Jim Henson Company. The stories and work of people like Frank Oz, Jerry Juhl, Don Sahlin, Caroll Spinney, Bonnie Erickson, and others will be featured, allowing visitors to learn more about the experience of creating The Muppets and more.

Join us on April Fool’s Day for a unique program featuring early Muppet creatives Dave Goelz, Bonnie Erickson, Rollie Krewson, Fran Brill, and Steve Whitmire, with Frank Oz joining virtually. They’ll discuss the early working culture at Jim Henson’s studios, sharing stories from their personal archives and revealing pranks pulled in the playful, “Affectionate Anarchy” of the workshop.
