Students learn about the history and culture of Mexico and its people through the art of the mask. Learning activities center on the story of the flag of Mexico & ancient Aztec culture, ancient pictographs of indigenous animals of the New World, and the Spanish influence after the landing of Cortez. Students are also briefly introduced to a modern holiday that ties the two cultures together–Dia de los Muertos.

We don’t charge for program cancellations due to weather; however, we do require that they be rescheduled. The full fee will be charged for cancellations made with less than 48-hour notice and for “NO SHOWS.” Foreign language programs require a 2-week cancelation notice.
Book 9 programs and your 10th program is FREE. This applies to hands-on, curriculum-based workshops ONLY (not puppet shows).
