Puppet Pathways Program (All Grades)

The Puppet Pathways Program is an engaging residency program that invites students to participate in the creation of a dynamic puppet production being presented at the Center for Puppetry Arts.

Dramaturgy is the process of making sure everything in the story makes sense, fits together, and helps the audience understand it. In this residency, students step into the role of detectives to assist the Center with the production, from exploring the story’s characters, settings, and why the story is important.

Through hands-on workshops, students explore the art of dramaturgy and its role in storytelling, puppet design, and performance! Students will also be empowered to see their voices reflected in the upcoming puppet production they experience at the Center.

Price:  $800 + cost of visit to CPA if applicable

Each session is designed to be engaging and accessible, requiring no prior experience. Sessions are standalone to accommodate participants who may not attend every class.

The final session culminates in a visit to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.
