Book Signing & Talkback with Duncan Tonatiuh

Join us for a special book signing and talkback featuring Duncan Tonatiuh, author of the acclaimed Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote: A Migrant’s Tale!

Duncan will be on-site for a book signing from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM—Center for Puppetry Members enjoy front-of-the-line access. Attendees to the 1 PM performance will enjoy a talkback with the author immediately after the show.

*Book signing and talkback are included in the ticket price.

Author and Illustrator
Duncan Tonatiuh
Duncan Tonatiuh is an award-winning author-illustrator whose accolades include the Pura Belpré Medal, the Robert F. Sibert Medal, and the New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Books Award. He is both Mexican and American. He grew up in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and graduated from Parsons School of Design and Eugene Lang College in New York City. His artwork is inspired by Mesoamerican art, particularly that of the Mixtec codices. He aims to create images and stories that honor the past while staying relevant to modern audiences.
