2000_An Asian Mosaic: The Exploration of Human Potential
Using the small world to represent the large, the lively doll theater traditions found throughout Southeast Asia today are the legacy of men who shrunk the cosmos into a miniature world of figures. This exhibit embodies the puppetry of India, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, and Vietnam, offering a mosaic of characters and events which played out represent the cosmos.
